All information presented on this website is done so only for the marketing of services and products available in the United States and Canada unless otherwise specified. Refunds are available within 30 days from the purchase date. If no tests have been completed, whereby certificates were not generated, the refund is made with no questions asked. If a test has been completed, whereby certificates have been generated, then a signed statement (email is fine) must be sent to Magellan stating that the certificates will not be used. This policy is the same for inidividual purchases and the subscription plan. Under the subscription plan, if the test for any one course is passed, a statement that the certificates will not be used must be submitted.
For a refund of book purchases, the book must be returned before any refund can be processed. The book must be returned in new condition. If the test for a book course has been completed, whereby certificates have been generated, then a signed statement (email is fine) must be sent to Magellan stating that the certificates will not be used.
All requests for refunds must be made in writing by sending an email to: customersupport@themagellangrp.com
The Magellan Group, LLC does not automatially renew subscription plan purchases.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution |
These Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy contained on this website constitute the complete and entire agreement between you and Magellan with regard to your use of this website. All disputes arising under the Terms and Conditions and/or the Privacy Policy, regardless of where such disputes are brought, shall be governed by the laws of the State of Maryland without regard to any conflict of law provisions. You agree that any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to your use of this website must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose, regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, or you will be forever barred from bringing such claim or cause of action. You agree to submit any dispute with Magellan exclusively to final and binding arbitration. Such arbitration will be in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. The location of any arbitration shall be in Baltimore County, Maryland. You agree that any arbitrator shall not have the authority to award punitive damages. You agree to be bound by any ruling in such arbitration proceeding and that such ruling shall be enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction. You agree that, should any portion of these Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy be found by an arbitrator or court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the arbitrator or court shall nevertheless give effect to the parties’ intentions expressed therein. All other provisions of these Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy shall remain in full force and effect. Any failure by Magellan to exercise any rights or to enforce any of the terms of the Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy shall not constitute a waiver of such rights or terms.
